I can’t remember a time when I was not always drawing. My parents were artists so you could say I hit the art supply jackpot… markers, pencils, paints and pastels in every shade imaginable and stacks of colored paper to apply them to.

Born and raised in New York City, I attended the legendary High School of Music & Art and Parsons School of Design. My illustrations use vibrant combinations of dyes and inks, gouache, watercolor, colored pencil and collage and have appeared in print, on the web and on textiles. I also take private commissions.

I have wonderful childhood memories of spending the day with my father at his design studio in lower Manhattan. I loved being there, drawing pictures while he worked at what seemed at the time a massive drafting table. Living and working in a small village in Northwest Connecticut, I’m fortunate to have my studio in a spacious, sunlit barn with a beautiful view of tall pines and dense woods. The sights, sounds and scents of my surroundings inspire me while I work at my dad’s old table.

When not covered in ink, I can be found in my kitchen covered in flour or on my bike being humbled by the surrounding hills.
